Esta subasta consta de una (1) peseta de plata de fantasía conmemorando la fundación del municipio mencionado arriba , como parte de nuestra legendaria y exitosa serie de las "pesetas de los pueblos" de 2008 y de 2009, celebrando la fundación de cada uno de los 78 municipios de Puerto Rico ya mayormente vendida en su totalidad. Debido a la inmensa cantidad de personas buscando pesetas de sus pueblos que nos han contactado en los pasados 10 años y que lamentablement han terminado con las manos vacías, y debido al 500 aniversario de la fundación de nuestra ciudad capital de San Juan en el 2021, decidimos sacar esta 3ra serie de pesetas de los pueblos, fechados 2019 (pero manufacturados en el 2020). Al igual que nuestra tirada anterior de 2008 y de 2009, c
ada pieza plateada tiene tamaño 25 mm, peso de alrededor 7.7 gramos, acabado proof, y tirada limitada a sólo 100 piezas enumeradas, con la diferencia que ahora todas esta piezas fechadas 2019 vienen con número de serie individual, haciendo de cada una de ellas una pieza única.
ANVERSO:
Se lee en la parte superior y en letra grande el nombre del municipio conmemorado, seguido por una imagen central mostrando el escudo de armas de dicho municipio, al cual se le han puesto ramitas de café a izquierda y derecha como efecto artístico, e imitando el estilo de las monedas antiguas de colección. A un lado del escudo se lee el año oficial de fundación, mientras que en el lado opuesto aparece el número de turno que hace en el listado cronológico de los 78 municipios ( por ejemplo San Juan es #1, San Germán #2, y así, hasta Canóvanas, # 78). En la parte inferior del escudo, y en letra grande, se lee la frase célebre con la que originalmente se le conoce a cada Pueblo de la Isla.
REVERSO:
Consta de un busto con la figura de George Washington, con letra y detalles similares al Quarter Dollar de Estados Unidos a manera de parodia, pero teniendo en cuenta la realidad factual de nuestro sistema monetario actual. Sobre el busto se lee: "Isla de Puerto Rico" y debajo del busto "Una Peseta 2019". A la derecha del busto (nuestra izquierda) se lee la palabra "Libertad" sobre la cual aparece impresa un número de serie individualizado (que hace cada pieza de esta serie única en su clase), mientras que a la izquierda del busto (nuestra derecha) se lee "En Dios Creemos", bajo la cual aparecen nuestras iniciales de manufactura "PRM".
DETALLES TECNICOS:
Consta de una medalla plateada estilo Quarter Dollar, tamaño 25 mm y peso aproximado 7.7 gramos, con borde ranurado, enumerada del 1 al 100, manufacturada en aleación de bronce con terminación en 0.999 plata pura, y acabado "Proof Like" o flor de cuño. Cada pieza se ve, pesa, y suena de manera similar a las pesetas de plata conmemorativas del gobierno Estadounidense, pero sin embargo, y al igual que tantos productos anteriores, siempre no aseguramos de cumplir con la ley y de no tener problemas con nadie, al igual que tantas otras compañías profesionales hacen. Nosotros sólo usamos imágenes libremente accesibles y de conocimiento público, y sólo utilizamos frases en español, al igual que añadimos ciertos detalles únicos que hacen a nuestras piezas diferentes a la moneda real para nunca violar derechos de autor y proveerle al público de una creación única. Cada una de las piezas de esta serie vienen en cápsula de plástico para preservar su brillo natural y protegerla de rayazos mientras usted la recibe.

This auction is for one (1) Puerto Rico fantasy Silver coin, based on the Washington Quarter Dollar, but reading "Island of Puerto Rico" / "Una Peseta (local name for Quarter)" "Libertad" "En Dios Creemos (In God we Believe)" It celebrates the founding of the town mentioned in the title above, as part of our successful series commemorating the founding of each of the 78 municipalities of Puerto Rico, originally launched in both 2008 and 2009, now mostly sold out. Over the last 10 years many people have approached us asking for a sold out "peseta" from their hometown, sadly leaving empty handed. Because of this, and as we apprach the celebration of the 500 years of the founding of our Capital city of San Juan in 2021, we decided to launch this 3rd series, dated 2019 but manufactred in 2020. Just like our 2008 and 2009 series, this new series also has a limited mintage of only 100 pieces, but this time we added an individual serial number, so each piece dated 2019 becomes unique. NOTE: Intended for people of Puerto Rican descent, but open to all collectors. Please read details below, and thanks for watching!
OBVERSE:
It features the coat of arms of the municipality shown in the title, on top of which is its name, and below the shield is the phrase for which this municipality is known for. On the right side of the shield (viewer's left) it features the year the town was officially founded, while on the oposite side of the shield is the numerical order in which it was founded, beginning with #1 for San Juan, founded in 1521, and ending with #78 for Florida, founded in 1971. Shields follow the Spanish Hieraldry tradition of 3 towers for town, 4 for Village or city, and 5 for very important city. Most municipalities preserve the number of towers originally assigned during the Spanish dominion before 1898, while some have updated their number of towers to reflect current status. Culebra and Vieques carry a crown styled like a ship because they are island municipalities. The main details inside each shield is particular to the history and traditions of each Municipality in the series. Some municipalities have updated their shields over the years.

It is based on the Washington Quarter Dollar, but reading "Island of Puerto Rico" / "Una Peseta (local name for Quarter)" "Libertad" "En Dios Creemos (In God we Believe)". E
ach piece looks, feels, weights, and sounds similar to a a U.S. Mint proof silver quarter, but we made sure to input everything in Spanish and add different features to avoid any deceiving visual confusion with the real thing, and thus comply with current laws.
SPECIFICS:
Each Silvered medal measures 25mm x 2mm, has a weight of 7.7 grams, and has reeded edges, just like the real thing. It is made of bronze alloy layered in pure 0.999 Silver. It has a Proof Like finish. It comes in its protective plastic capsule, to save it from scratches, while pre
